- Those who believe on the name of Christ can become sons and daughters of God.

- God gave Christ the power over all flesh.
- Everything Christ did during His mortal ministry was to glorify God and to do God's work.
Names of Christ and their meanings:
- “Christ” is the Greek equivalent of the Jewish title “Messiah,” meaning the “Anointed One.”
- “Messiah” is the Jewish name for Christ, and it also means the “Anointed One.”
- “Jehovah” is Christ’s name in the pre-existence. It means, literally, “I Am,” or “I Exist.” It can also be interpreted as “Self-existing One.”
- “Immanuel” is a name-title given to the Savior that means “God is with us.” It was used to prophecy of Christ’s divine birth.
- Christ is referred to as “The Word” because of His role as the one who makes God’s word come to pass. He is the Word of God because by Him God enacts His will.
